how to come
The airplane the best way to come close to Medjugorje. There are many different companies coming to Split and Dubrovnik during a tourist season.
There are several busses that will bring you directly to Medjugorje from Germany, Italy (Trieste second night at 6PM) , Split (7,25 11 and 17) , Dubrovnik(17h every day) Zagreb( every evening between 20h to 22.30 there are 6 different busses) . For more info check
The train is more difficult than busses. There is one train from Sarajevo passing close to Medjugorje, but is not reliable. Train railways was destroyed in the war, and Bosnia did not fix this problem so we don't recommend to come this way.
The ferry will be suitable for you if you plan to visit Italy before coming to Medjugorje. The ferry will bring you or from Ancona to Split or to Dubrovnik. From there you will find a connection to Medjugorje, or call us for arranging the transfer for you. The ferry are coming in to the Croatia every day.
